TMD / TMJ symptoms
Malfunction of the craniofacial musculature can affect the entire body musculature and create problems which are often not connected with the initial problem.
These problems include:
- Teeth grinding (bruxism)
- Headache/migraine
- Muscle tension in the upper spine
- Tinnitus due to straining
- Facial pain
Even in cases of back pain and shoulder problems, alleviation of symptoms is likely.
A TMD in the region of the mouth may not cause any issues and can still be the cause for migraine / problems with the cervical spine / tinnitus or problems in other regions, often combined with conditions of psychological stress.
In the case of an orthopedic indication, in turn caused by the TMD / TMJ, only the Relaktor principle can promise an improvement in symptoms.
